We are excited to expand our team, and in the role you will be responsible for: - Supporting procurement activities in flexibility, e.g. producing publicly facing documentation to enable market participation and activities to engage potential flexibility service providers. - Leading stakeholder engagement activities with flexibility service providers and potential providers to increase market liquidity across the flexibility market space. - Supporting Cost Benefit Analysis work which compares flexible services and reinforcements. - Collaborating on building the flexibility strategy for the next 5 to 10 years, applying market knowledge to assess the best approaches to be utilised and how this will impact market liquidity. What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: - Enthusiasm for learning new skills and concepts and being able to adapt as this changes. - An understanding of economic principles as a foundation for supporting and understanding market design. Preferably having experience of operating in an electricity market. - Excel skills and experience in completing data analysis or cost benefit analysis and reporting these results is essential. Additionally, some background in programming in Python would be beneficial. - The ability to present complex concepts to different internal and external audiences with a range of backgrounds and understanding. - Experience building relationships with a range of stakeholders and gathering information on a range of different jobs.
