Here at settle we are looking for an Assistant management accountant to join us on a 12-month contract. This role is key in providing support to our Finance colleagues and various parts of the business.

Requirements

Outline of Key Responsibilities...

  • Analyse financial and non-financial records
  • Prepare journals, system and account reconciliations for review.
  • Operate with transparency and ensure excellent record keeping for audit trail
  • Prepare financial information for internal and external reporting
  • Prepare and present management accounts and reports to the relevant internal stakeholders in the business
  • Support the management reporting process
  • Assist with the internal and external audits
  • Provide year-end support

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Methodical, organised, efficient and effective
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in basic accounting, preparing journals and reconciliations
  • A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong Excel and numeracy skills
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Studying towards a CCAB accountancy qualification, AAT or equivalent
