Are you a passionate, dedicated Casual Support Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Casual Support Assistant to join a team based in a supported employment service for young people and adults with Learning Disabilities.
Pay: £11.39 - £14.22 per hour
Duration: 3 months initially
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30 - 15:30 – Office based/ community work
Casual Support Assistant role: Full JD Available
- Supported employment service for young people and adults with Learning Disabilities, helping to find employment
- Work alongside in a community café or bowling greens
- Assess their skills and identify where development is needed, to result in paid work
- Work on enhancing life skills - independent living skills, reaching potential
- Support with their confidence if needed
- 1-1 basis or a small group
- Help to find employment that is suitable for them
- Make notes on work done and progress
- Attend meetings and reviews on progress where necessary
Essential Requirements
- Experience in employment coaching
- Recent experience working with young people/ adults with Learning Disabilities
- Understanding and ability to build work skills/ independent living skills
- Must have a nurturing approach
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UK
- Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
