Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated domestic electrician to join our team at the local authority in Blyth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to secure a stable position with potential for permanent employment. You will be responsible for carrying out housing repairs and some testing work, ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical systems in residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine electrical repairs and maintenance in domestic properties.
• Conduct electrical testing and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently.
• Install and maintain electrical systems and components.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
• Testing and inspection 2391
• Valid ECS/CSCS card.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
