Opus People Solutions are seeking a Head of Grounds on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting into the Head of FM, the Head of Grounds will provide leadership and management of the ground's maintenance and landscaping business in both Suffolk and Derbyshire. Travel to Derbyshire will only be once or twice a month.

The Head of Grounds will build and maintain strong relationships with a team of Operations Manager as well as the wider customers and teams.

Taking a strategic approach to our Grounds maintenance business, the Head of Grounds will identify opportunities for growth and efficiency's whilst meeting contractual and all H&S requirements.

Day to day, you will:

  • Act as senior level contact for Ground & Landscaping
  • Own and drive key customer relationships
  • Maximise business opportunities within each area, identifying new products and/or operating practices and introducing or implementing these as appropriate.
  • Achieve annual operating profits and gross revenues targets as set down and agreed.
  • Set annual budgets for the relevant portfolios within Grounds & Landscaping and ensure spending is reviewed and managed.
