Hays are pleased to be assisting a leading client in Plymouth with the recruitment of a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their growing team.

Your New Role

You will provide management of the electrical engineering elements of the buildings and transformer compound packages, ensuring designer technical performance and making appropriate technical responses, provide subject-matter expert advice for electrical engineering as well as technical design guidance and review of electrical design packages.

You will also ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule, and budget.

What You'll Need To Succeed

You will be qualified in Electrical/Control Engineering with previous experience designing high and low voltage electrical distribution systems and control & instrumentation systems ideally with knowledge of nuclear or other regulated industries.

What You'll Get In Return

This role is offered with a salary between £50,000 and £65,000 per annum, depending on experience on a permanent contract.
