Exciting role on offer for a Project Agent looking to join a well-established, family-owned, market leading Civil Engineering Company that specialise in water and drainage projects across Devon and Cornwall.

Do you have experience as a Project Agent / Manager within Water, drainage, or Civil Engineering? Are you looking for a company that will support you in having a progressive career?

This well-established Civil Engineering contractor has been operating across Devon and Cornwall for over four decades, they have seen remarkable growth over the past few years but have managed to maintain their close-knit & supportive environment which is underpinned by their inclusive culture. The business has built a fantastic reputation across the water industry due to their high levels of delivery and service, which has led to record amounts of work coming through. Therefore, they are now recruiting for a Project Agent to join their highly skilled team to support the next phase of growth.

In this role you will be the driving force behind fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. You will be responsible for overseeing all labour resources on site, by regularly visiting sites to ensure projects are being delivered in accordance to client specification, company policy, and health and safety standards. This role will allow you to work autonomously, managing your time effectively between the office and sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience within water/drainage within a similar role. You will have an engineering background and be familiar working on highways, and managing street works. It would be advantageous if you hold some relevant site based qualifications but these can also be trained on.

The Role:
- Visit site and collect information for design and planning
- Assist in the planning and delivery of projects from cradle to grave
- Lead by fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment
- Split between office in Exeter and sites across Devon

The Person:
- Experience working as a Project Agent / Project Manager, or similar within Water / Drainage
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
- Some relevant qualifications / tickets (HNC, NRSWA, CSCS, SMSTS etc)
