Opportunity to work for a leading and well established medical diagnostic company. They are seeking a dynamic individual to undertake validation activities relating to gel electrophoresis product development in a timely and efficient manner as directed by the New Product Development Manager and with reference to the appropriate procedures / guidelines.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Testing of gel electrophoresis products according to pre-assigned testing and validation protocols, identifying and investigating any detrimental trends via good attention to detail and root cause analysis.
  • Documentation of all test work according to GMP/GLP standards.
  • Creation of new and update of existing validation protocols in line with updates to international regulations.
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation relating to regulatory submissions.
  • Routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
  • To develop, maintain and apply in-depth theoretical electrophoresis knowledge to support routine and novel research and development opportunities.

Person Specification

  • BSc in Biomedical Sciences or similar
  • Electrophoresis experience

This vacancy is permanent, full time Monday to Friday (daytime hours) and based at their site in Sunderland.

Salary: Competitive Remuneration Package (negotiable depending upon skills and experience)

Job Types: Full-time, Graduate
