Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester - Maidstone

  • £30-£36k Basic Up to £42k OTE
  • Monday to Friday 8-5:30pm - 1 Late night every other Tuesday. NO SATURDAYS
  • Well run family business with 20 years trading

Due to a recent workshop refurbishment and expanison, our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to add to their existing workshop team. Running for over 20 years a alongside an established and well-run Used Car Dealer based in Maidstone, our client is looking for an experienced candidate is looking for a new long term role where they can enjoy a positive work place and a good work life balance with no weekend working. They have a great track record and an excellent reputation based on firm foundations of outstanding customer service and delivering top vehicles at highly competitive prices.

  • Good basic salary of up to £36,000 dependant on experience + a very competitive bonus scheme. £42k OTE.
  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30-6 - 1 Late night every other Tuesday. NO SATURDAYS

Candidate Requirements:

  • Good all round technical and mechanical experience
  • Wide range of brand experience
  • MOT experience either current or lapsed would be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent time served
  • Willingness to turn their hand to anything within the workshop
  • Servicing Experience
  • Diagnostic experience preferred but not essential
